Sara Powers has published fiction in Zoetrope All-Story, Story, the Voice Literary Supplement, and elsewhere. Her stories have been included in the anthologies New Stories from the South: The Year's Best, the Zoetrope All-Story Anthology, High Infidelity, and Texas Bound. Her nonfiction has appeared in The Village Voice, Austin Chronicle, Details and Travel Holiday.She has also written for television and film, including screenplays for The Wild and The Baker's Wife for Francis Ford Coppola's Zoetrope Studios. She lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband, Robin Hall, and her two sons.
